Cala Piazzoni

Cala Piazzoni, a peaceful, secluded six bedroom farmhouse accommodating 11 people, is set in six hectares of extensive lawns, gardens and Mediterranean maquis. It enjoys panoramic views of the Mediterranean with the island of Giannutri in the distance and of the romantic, wild and rugged coastline.

This charming property is located on the west coast of Monte Argentario but could almost be in the middle of the Chianti countryside with bougainvillaea growing up its walls and rock gardens planted with beautifully scented rosemary and lavender. An abundance of red geraniums in terracotta pots provide additional colour, while neat rows of cypress trees give welcome shade during the hot summer’s days and border the well-manicured lawns and the swimming pool.

The 14x6 metre swimming pool has a shallow paddling end, and has a large sunbathing terrace as well as a partly shaded area. Up some steps from the pool, there is a spacious covered loggia with a barbecue and table seating up to 12 people, which enjoys lovely views. There are very few other houses in this area of Argentario, so Cala Piazzoni provides the ideal location for those seeking absolute peace and tranquility in beautiful surroundings and the possibility of many wonderful coastal and mountainside walks nearby.

An unobtrusive caretaker couple, that live out, ensure that all our guests’ needs are attended to by shopping and cooking for them on request. We much recommend that these extra services are taken up when booking, so that guests can fully relax and savour every minute of quality holiday time.
