I Lecci

Built into the hillside, I Lecci enjoys breathtaking views across the bay and is conveniently located just 10 minutes drive from Porto Santo Stefano.

Having been sympathetically restored by its English owners, I Lecci is ideal for two or more families. Outside there is a barbecue area and a large teak table for al fresco dining. On a lower terrace there is a ping pong table.

Spacious, light and airy, each bedroom as well as the sitting room have an outside terrace where one can sunbathe or in the evening sit with a cool glass of wine as the sum sets over Elba while the cicadas hum away in the background.

A 15 minute walk down a (sometimes rough) footpath takes one down through the Mediterranean maquis to the beautiful bay and beach of Cala Grande, which is fantastic for swimming and snorkelling.

Unusually cool and breezy in the summer, warm and cosy out of season, and with all the attractions of Argentario and the Maremma Toscana close at hand, I Lecci is a highly appealing destination.
