The villa was completely restored and refurbished in 2001 with traditional local materials and contemporary high tech equipment. It is surrounded by 3.5 hectares of spectacular landscaped gardens, with subtle lighting that creates a magical atmosphere in the evening.

The garden includes a large swimming pool, a kitchen garden with seasonal vegetables available for guests' use, roses and lavender for decoration, olive trees producing oil for the house, a barbecue area and various outdoor entertaining games such as a small football pitch, croquet, etc.

The house is rented with staff including a resident housekeeper, two part time maintenance men/gardeners. A service of local everyday/dinner party cooking is available on request as an extra.
