Podere Marsiliana is located in a hamlet which belongs to the municipiality of Manciano. The old town was once known as Caletra Etrusca, and was one of the main Etruscan cities in the area. Nowadays, the hamlet consists of a castle and tower, owned by the Corsini family and a number houses that are perched up on a hill overlooking the valley below where Podere Marsiliana is located.

Podere Marsiliana is surrounded by a large olive grove and a lush, verdant garden: a cypress-lined road leads to the entrance. The house has two floors. There is a main hall which welcomes guests, followed by a bright and breezy living room with a fireplace which overlooks a large porch. The ground floor includes two spacious double bedrooms, with ensuite bathrooms with showers. Moreover, there is another large living room. The stairs lead to the first floor, where there are two double bedrooms. The first one has a queen sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a large shower. The second one has an ensuite bathroom too, but also has a sitting room where it is possible to relax. Both the rooms have a balcony, in order to enjoy a 360 degree panorama of the hills: it is possible to see the mountain of Monte Amiata, the hill of Scansano, the small hill of Ghiaccio Forte, the castle and hamlet Borgo Marsiliana. There also views of olive groves, vineyards, wheat fields and local plants that stretch until the river Albegna: the promonotory of Argentario and the island of Giglio can be seen on the horizon. Each room is equipped with air conditioning should it be needed and in the winter there is cental heating and a large fireplace to keep you warm and cosy. All inner doors are soundproof, as well as the windows and French windows are equipped with mosquito nets. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern appliances one would need.
